Hi Fiona
Love your podcast. It is great to see more Australians getting into podcasting. I am sure the Americans enjoy watching stuff from down under. I have toyed with the idea of doing a podcast but I don’t think I have the stickability to keep it going. Having to produce a show every week sounds really daunting and I haven’t a clue what equipment is needed and how to go about it.
I was wondering if you knew of any other Australian video podcasters. I love all the USA ones but it is nice to hear about stuff that is more localised. I don’t know about you but I have difficulty getting some of the yarn that is highlighted in overseas podcasts.
I live in East Maitland in NSW so a long way from you, and I have never been to Cairns so it is nice to see your surrounds.
If you are maybe interested in what I have made my Ravelry name is Zoeknitgirl .
Look forward to hearing from you, but will understand if it is after you return from your trip to Africa. You must have heaps to do.
Cheers
Joyce :)

Hi Joyce! So glad you enjoy the show! Helena of Willow Fairy Knits is anothernAussie podcaster- she is due to have her first hub anyway now so her episodes may not be that regular for a while, but it is well worth checking out her past episodes!
In New Zealand there is Annette who does the Gentle Ribbing podcast too.

Hi again Fiona
You know the more I watch your podcast the more I want to jump in and do one too, even though I said previously that I didn’t think I could stick to it.
Can you tell me a little about what it takes to do a video podcast and what equipment you use. I know there are problems with Blip at the moment, so I would be interested in knowing what you have done to overcome all that.
I appreciate your time to advise me on this.
cheers
Joyce :)
